PARENT SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT SURVEY

All parents will be receiving a Parent SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT SURVEY in their child's book bag.  It may returned anonymously to Tritt in the envelope provided (there will be a drop off location in the front lobby) or you may take a few minutes, respond to the survey which can be found at this link: http://www.cobbk12.org/sisurvey .  Please return all surveys by February 10, 2012.

Feedback from staff, parents and community members is important to the school strategic planning process. Your participation in School Improvement Survey will provide feedback about the quality of educational services and programs in our schools.

Fencing Anyone?

As you all know by now I am the Head Coach for the Pope Fencing Team and Asst. Coach at Dunwoody Fencing Club.  What you may not know is that Dunwoody Fencing Club as moved to a new location, right around the corner!

Our NEW practice facility is located at 620 West Crossville Road in Roswell. It is Suite 200 in the Kohl’s shopping center (about 500 yards from Roswell HS)

Our Weekly Schedule at the Paladin Center is:

Monday – 7:00pm – 9:00pm The Paladin Center
Friday – 7:00pm – 9:00pm The Paladin Center
Saturday – 10:00am Youth ; 11:00am - 1:00pm Adult – The Paladin Center (Some days this will be longer if we arn't tired!)

When the Georgia High School Fencing League season ends in February, we will be adding a Wednesday evening practice at 7:00pm at The Paladin Center.

Current members of the Pope team, who are not fencing for a USFA club, as well as friends of the team (Like Tritt Students!) who would like to try a new sport are invited to try fencing at Dunwoody Fencing Club from Dec. 19th through January 6th on Mondays and Fridays for only $25 per fencer for the entire break. Both Monday and Friday Practices start at 7:00 pm.  Please bring cash, as checks are not accepted at the club. This is a significant discount and is intended to encourage the fencers to practice over the Holiday break.
