I wanted to remind you of a few things...

All parents are invited to come and listen to our poems. Each student will be choosing two poems from their books to read to the class.
4. End of the Year Party - May 22 - 9:45
5. Last Day of School - May 23 - NO BOOKBAGS
The students are only allowed to bring their lunch to school.
The students have done a great job this week! We finished Math today and science and social studies will be taken next week. Thanks to Mrs. Walsh for bringing a CRCT treat on Tuesday to celebrate. After today, we have four more weeks of school. This year has flown by! Have a relaxing weekend!
Welcome Back!
I hope everyone had a nice Spring Break!
1. I would like to welcome our new student, Kilee Dotson! She came to us yesterday from Colorado. We are so excited about our new addition.
2. Spring Pictures went home yesterday. Please return any pictures you are not purchasing and your money envelopes by this Friday.
3. Our poems will be coming home this Thursday. Please begin typing your student's book into the Tiger Publishing template on the Tritt website. The final drafts must be e-mailed or turned in by April 22. I will send home a detailed page of directions in your student's poetry folder.
Thanks so much! Six weeks to go and you will have a fourth grader!
I hope everyone has a wonderful week away from school next week. Here are some important things to remember...
1. Relay for Life HAT DAY is this Thursday, April 3. If your child brings one dollar for Relay for Life they can wear a hat all day. Please help support Tritt's Relay for life team!
2. We are going to the library on Thursday so remind your children to bring their books back so they can check out a few before Spring Break.
3. Spring Break is April 7-11
4. CRCT testing - April 23 - 29
Make up days will be April 30 - May 2
It is so important for your children to arrive on time to school those days!
Just a reminder...
We are going to see a play tomorrow at the new Cobb Energy Center. We will leave school around 10:45 and return before dismissal. Please have your student dress up a little bit tomorrow. We want to look very nice while we represent Tritt. E-mail me with any questions you have!
We will be having a talent show during music class on MARCH 19th! Please remind your students to prepare a talent!
We are having our class picture made tomorrow at 10:37. Please make sure your child is here at school and ready to smile! After our class picture will be taking more individual pictures. I sent home a pose selection form last week and have only recieved two back!
We have two field trips coming soon!
1. March 18
We are going to the new Cobb Energy Center to see a play. We will leave school around 10:45 and return before dismissal. This field trip is scheduled by the Preforming Arts Series and you have already signed a permission slip at the beginning of this school year.
2. March 27 - New Echota
We are going to New Echota to learn about Indians native to Georgia. We will leave at 8:15 and return at 1:45. I will send home a permission slip on Monday. If your child returns it on Tuesday that will earn an incentive. The cost is $10.25.
Can you believe we are at the end of February? This year is flying by! Here are a few things to remember...
1. Tritt Technology Night is Next Tuesday at 6:30. Please come and see how we are using technology around our school.
2. Cobb County parent surveys will be sent home next week. Please have these turned in by March 12th. Thanks in advance for participating. It helps us to evaluate our strengths and weaknesses as a county.
3. SOCIAL STUDIES TEST next Thursday, February 28. I sent home a study guide today so please be reviewing this material in advance.
4. Arts in Education day is tomorrow! Please have your student wear comfortable shoes and bring an easy snack they can carry with them.
