"Annie, Jr." Costume Information

Our costume coordinator for "Annie, Jr." encourages you to take advantage of fall sales and discounted Halloween items to get ready for the show!

Orphans (including Annie, Molly, July, Duffy, Tessie, Kate, and Pepper):Consider purchasing a flannel nightgown, ( or oversized dress/jumper) and oversized sweater now.  Then wear and waash it often between now and March!  Remember, you are poor orphans;  no new clothes and bright colors for you!

Appleseller:  look for a plaid coat, cap and gloves that you can cut the fingers off.

Bundles:  Oversized plaid shirt

Miss Hannigan and Lily:  See if you can pick up a feather boa or some costume jewelry on sale

Lt. Ward and Policeman:  Policeman uniform ( it would be great to coordinate with the other member of your cast, so your uniforms look similar)

Dog Catcher:  Matching uniform shirt and pants and hat (like a UPS deliveryman)

Other Cast Members:  More information will be going home soon about your specific costume requirements, including housekeeper, cook and servant uniforms

If you have any questions or are interested in helping with costumes, please contact Sarah Regitz at ztiger4@gmail.com

"Annie, Jr." Afternoon Pickups

It would have to be pouring down on our first day of pickup carpool after our "Annie, Jr." rehearsal!  Thank you to those who came around to the side, like I had asked.  Thank you for moving down to the covered area yesterday, since it was raining.  Yes, we will be at the cafeteria door if there's no rain.  We will not be using the front of the school for our pickup, because chess also dismisses there.  This way is faster for you.

I really appreciate the moms who are helping with rehearsals and with carpool!!

Remember, the ASEP policy is that those students who are not picked up within 10 minutes after dismissal (3:40 P.M. right now for "Annie, Jr.") will be taken to ASP.  If your child is not registered for ASP already, then there is a charge of $17.  The ASP director asked that I pass this information to you.

We want to be certain that your child stays safe, and that is why we must follow these procedures.

Some families had already formed carpools yesterday....Yeah!

Thank you for your cooperation, parents.

"Annie, Jr." Cast Information

Have you returned the half sheet that indicates whether your child can rehearse on Mondays and Tuesdays, or only on Tuesdays, beginning in January?  This was in the packet of "Annie, Jr." information.  I really need that back tomorrow, Thursday, October 22, in order to form the two casts.  Thank you.

The Benefits of Chorus

I encourage all of our Tritt families to read an article that appeared in the AJC on Monday, October 12:  http://www.ajc.com/opinion/sing-praises-of-school-160637.html

Bravo, "Aristocats, Kids"

Bravo to our "Aristocats, Kids" performers!!  They did such a great job at all three performances.  Their very best was on Thursday evening, for their families.  I think they looked so cute in their costumes and faces made up like their characters.

As you could tell, they had lots of music and many words to memorize in these few short weeks, and I know you are so proud of their accomplishment.

I hope your child and the entire family will have happy memories of "Aristocats, Kids"!

Chorus Shirts

I have had a wonderful response to Tritt's Fourth and Fifth Grade Chorus!  Monday, August 24, is the final day for sign-ups for the chorus, which begins September 15.  We rehearse on Tuesdays at 7:20 A.M., in the cafeteria.

If your child needs a chorus shirt, there are order forms in the music room.  Shirts are $15 and ordered through the Tritt P.T.A. spiritwear committee.  Please return you order form and check by October 1.

I look forward to a great chorus year with these students!
