Notes concerning dress rehearsals and performances for "Beauty and the Beast, Jr.";
Students may bring a book to read, but no electronic devices.
Please remember that our contract prohibits any recording or photos be taken at the dress rehearsals and performances.
Students should eat a light, healthy meal before performances...no greasy foods, no milk or soft drinks.
Costume information about the understudy performance on March 10:
For the understudy performance, the understudies will wear the costumes for their characters, which will be at the theater for the Saturday rehearsal. The children who normally play those roles can simply switch costumes with their understudies OR they can bring their own villager costumes if they feel more comfortable wearing their own clothing. We will have some extra skirts and blouses on hand for fitting issues as well as safety pins, etc. to help with costumes that may be a little large. You may want to talk with your child about who their understudy is so that you can think if sizing will be an issue. Each child will just wear the shoes they normally wear. We want this to be as simple as possible.
Thank you once again to our production committee, who are working so hard!
And thank you, parents, for encouraging and supporting your children in "Beauty and the Beast, Jr.!

ALL students who are registered for this Tritt F.A.S.T. musical WILL be on stage, in costumes, in all performances.
Ellen Linebaugh, Brian Adams, and I spent many hours auditioning and discussing these roles. We agreed on the decisions. Please encourage your child in the role they were given, as each one is very important to the success of the musical.
Thank you to all who auditioned for a speaking role. Since there were not quite 70 4th and 5th graders who signed up, we will have one cast and we will also have understudies. If the understudies are fully prepared, we will provide a performance opportunity for them, such as a dress rehearsal for their families. That will be decided as we progress further into the rehearsals.
Each student should be listed on both the Cast List and the Understudies List. If not, please email me at bethirwin@charter.net.
