The 4th and 5th grade students have been working diligently on their invention convention packets every time they come to the ILC for a lesson. The packets should now be completed and the students should be working on building their inventions at home. The inventions are due April 1st! The students will present their inventions with their pitch (the typed purpose page) in their classrooms the week after Milestones. The top 3 from each class will go to the school Invention Convention to be held April 25th during school.

Mrs. Bates, Mrs. Dean, and Mrs. Porter are excited to finally introduce Tritt's Innovation Learning Commons (ILC) to the students. Some of the changes that the students will be learning about are:

a small group collaborative area with a media scape
- a maker space (in the old media center office)
- a quiet small group area for independent work
- a class set of iPads
- a class set of laptops
- 2 teachers for more in depth innovative lessons.
