Valentine's Day

We will be exchanging Valentine's...The students will decorate their boxes at school and then write about the process (transitional writing). Please send in a shoe box and materials (of your child's choice) to decorate the box as soon as possible, but definitely by Valentine's Day! Thanks!

Welcome Back!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday break!  We will start the daily routine on Tuesday, January 8th (ready or not!)  Please remember to check your child's planner for homework assignments and tests/projects that are coming up.  I realize it might take a couple days to get back in the swing of things, but we will all adjust and make the most of the second half of the school year!

Oct 15 Update

We are working on time in math...so ask your child lots of questions about what time it is, how many minutes till the next hour, etc. We will have a test on how to spell numbers 1-100 next Monday. The "study guide" will come home today.

We are starting Informational Text in reading starting Weds.

We are starting to learn about "soil" in science and landforms in Social Studies.
