*Thank you for coming to Open House last week!  I enjoyed meeting with all of you and letting you know what 3rd grade is all about.  Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have as we continue through this school year.  Again thank you for coming!

*Hat Day is Friday!!!  If your child brings in $1 this Friday, he or she can wear a hat all day.  All proceeds go to Tritt's Relay for Life Team.

*A spelling list went home today in your child's binder.  They need to learn all 24 words but will only be tested on 10 words that I choose.  The test will be on Thursday.

*There will be no school next Monday because of Labor Day.  Enjoy your day off!!

*We'll be having a Science Quiz tomorrow (Tuesday) on the Scientific Method.  They only need to know the 4 steps in the correct order and spelling doesn't count.  They have a paper in their binders with the steps listed.

*Picture Day is Sept. 1!!!  Everyone will get their picture taken to be used in the yearbook.  If you'd like to order pictures, please fill out the info sent home today and return it to me. 

*Don't forget to come to Open House this Thursday at 6:00pm.  I look forward to seeing all of you here!!!
